Light as a cloud, incredibly soft and delicately creamy—Japanese soufflé cheesecake has become our signature bake and the product that put PieCraft on the map. Now it’s your turn to discover the techniques behind this beautiful dessert.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll guide you through every step of the process. You’ll learn how to prepare the silky batter, master the delicate folding technique that gives the cheesecake its famous airy texture, and bake it gently in a water bath for that perfectly light, jiggly finish.
Once you’ve mastered the classic recipe, we’ll also show you how to transform it into exciting flavour variations, including rich Chocolate and vibrant Matcha, so you can confidently experiment at home.
Whether you’re an experienced baker or trying something new, this workshop is designed to be approachable, relaxed and full of practical tips you’ll use again and again.
As with every PieCraft workshop, we’ll pause for a cozy bakery break with freshly brewed coffee or tea and something delicious from our display. You’ll also receive 15% off everything in our bakery shop to take home on the day of your workshop.

These terms apply to workshop bookings made from 12 October 2026 after publication of this policy. Earlier bookings remain subject to the terms provided when booked. For private workshops, any different terms agreed in writing before booking take precedence.
We reserve a place and plan our preparation and teaching around your booking. If you need to cancel, the following refund schedule applies to the amount paid for each cancelled workshop place:
Cancellation charges will not exceed a reasonable amount for our actual loss, taking account of costs saved and any replacement booking for the cancelled place. Where this is lower than the scheduled charge, we will reduce the charge accordingly. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Email info@piecraft.nl with your order number and the places you wish to cancel. Notice is measured from when your email reaches us to the booked workshop start time, using Amsterdam local time. We will confirm receipt; a delay in our reply does not change your notice period. Eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of cancellation.
You may send another eligible participant in your place at no additional charge. Please email us their name and any dietary requirements beforehand. The cancellation schedule applies to each cancelled place if your group becomes smaller. A family ticket is treated as one booked place.
Requests to change the date, start time, workshop format or number of items made require our written agreement. Custom arrangements and different prices must be agreed before booking. If we agree to your request to make fewer items, shorten your participation or omit part of the booked experience, the booked price remains payable and no partial refund is due for that voluntary change. This does not affect your rights if PieCraft fails to provide the agreed service.
Date transfers are subject to availability and our written agreement. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, cancelling the original date is subject to the cancellation schedule above; submitting a transfer request does not suspend those deadlines.
If we cancel your workshop or propose a different date, you may choose an available alternative date or a full refund of your workshop payment. We will not require you to accept credit instead of a refund.
Our recreational workshops take place on a specific booked date and time and are not subject to the usual 14-day cooling-off right for online purchases. The cancellation options above apply, without limiting any other statutory consumer rights.
We strive to process and ship all orders in a timely manner, working diligently to ensure that your items are on their way to you as soon as possible.
