Coming from the eastern seaboard of New England, this American classic makes the most of the relatively short rhubarb season by pairing it with its BBFF (berry best friends forever!), the strawberry.  Flaky crust gives way to a tart and jam-like berry filling, seasoned gently with warm spices and vanilla. A marvelous marriage of sweet and sour, this pie is a fan favorite for many reasons—the biggest one being that rhubarb is an entirely underused gem on this side of the pond. We can only enjoy it for a short time, so best to order these in bulk and freeze them.
